About PI
Jooho Lee, MD, Ph.D
Welcome to our research group! I’m the PI of the Jooho Lee Lab, leading this amazing team. As a board-certified radiation oncologist with expertise in neurologic and tumor genetics, I have built experience in both basic and clinical biomedical research, shaping my journey as a physician-scientist.

By focusing on both clinical and translational research, I strive to identify unresolved challenges in patient care and bring them into the lab, where I collaborate with students and researchers to find innovative answers. I truly enjoy the process of tackling these complex problems together and fostering an environment where we all grow and advance to the next stage of our careers.

Outside the lab, I love playing tennis, attending classical music concerts, and spending time with my family skiing in the winter. I hope our time in the lab is both rewarding and inspiring for everyone involved!
